Built on a legacy of compassion, Vivie was founded on a shared dedication to community care. The pioneers behind Walker Methodist and Knute Nelson, the legacy organizations that built Vivie, took bold action to address community needs and ensure the well-being of their neighbors. Thanks to our predecessors, philanthropy is truly at the heart of all we do at Vivie. Today, we honor that vision, continually expanding our impact through the foundation’s programs and initiatives.

I had some stock from a bonus program at my previous employer which had appreciated over the years and would have been taxed had I sold it. Instead, I passed it easily to the foundation.
